Central Park Carousel horses

These paintings depict the horses on the exterior of the Central Park Carousel in New York City.  When the weather gets cold, and the carousel is closed for the winter, these happy horses remind us that next spring, the carousel will be back in action!  

All paintings are the same size, 8" x 10" oil on gessobord panel

All of these are framed in a thin black frame, which gives a contemporary look, and makes the colors pop.  They look great in a group.

Even though they look 3d, these are all just painted - no carving involved.
